Saturated medium ruby. Sexy, super ripe aromas of black cherry, iron, tobacco, earth and smoky oak. Sweet and leathery on entry, then dry and powerful in the middle, with wild, somewhat high-toned flavors of iron and tobacco. Finishes with big, youthfully tough tannins and excellent length. This really needs two or three years of additional aging.
